This is my first winter running outside, it’s still early in the season but I’m hoping to keep this up.

Runner’s World Magazine has a great series, Newbie Chronicles which is great source of motivating articles for folks starting out. Here’s the one that motivated me to purchase some light winter running gear and hit the trial: Foul-Weather Friend

Temperatures today were in the mid 30s and ice in spots, which began melting during my second lap around the grounds. The outdoors are really motivating.

The big obstacle for me right now is my diet, I need to do a better job. My diet is holding me back from better runs.
